Painting is like opening the door to another dimension. I am fascinated with the power of art to conjure a spectrum of emotion that penetrates and connects us to the subconscious. My pieces are explorations of memory, place and time, often playing upon the paradoxes in nature, such as the simultaneous presence of stillness and movement, chaos and order, light and darkness. I welcome the viewer to slow down and contemplate my work as a panorama of moments — moments of flux and instability, as well as moments of stillness and contemplation.
